One of the services that we provide our clients is weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics reporting. We utilize a tool that queries our clients’ analytics accounts and produces an executive summary that is far easier to read than a dashboard or report within Google Analytics. Additionally, we’ve written our own referrer spam filter that’s applied to the report to minimize false referrers – which is a huge problem nowadays.
Here’s a sample section of a Quarterly Executive report that was sent out with quarter-over-quarter data:
The report then breaks down performance by channel in their own sections for referrals, direct visits, organic search, social media, and email. Top landing pages, mobile visits, conversions, and geographic breakdowns are also provided. It’s a report that allows us to pinpoint our performance as well as keep our clients notified of our progress.
